Which forum platforms do you support?
260 platforms, with 67,600+ from/to combinations. As sources we support every major forum: vBulletin 3/4/5, phpBB, MyBB, SMF, XenForo, IPS, IPB, bbPress, Vanilla, Discourse, NodeBB, Flarum, BuddyBoss, plus dozens of older or self-hosted systems. As targets, we move to wpForo, XenForo, phpBB, MyBB, bbPress, Vanilla, BuddyBoss, Discourse, Flarum, and NodeBB. We don't migrate to vBulletin because it's a deprecated commercial platform — but we happily migrate away from it.
Will I lose my SEO ranking after migrating?
No. We set up automatic 301 redirects from every old URL to its new counterpart on the target platform. Google preserves your rankings, and existing inbound links continue to work. We've migrated forums with millions of indexed pages without ranking loss.
Will my users keep their accounts and passwords?
Usernames, emails, and profile data move 1:1. Passwords from stand-alone forums (phpBB, MyBB, SMF and similar) typically can't be transferred because source and target use different hashing algorithms — this is technically impossible, no service can do it. We solve it with a one-click "send new passwords" tool that emails every user a fresh password on launch day. Where the algorithms match (e.g. some WordPress-based migrations), passwords transfer cleanly.
How long does the migration take?
Most migrations finish in 24–48 hours. Very large forums (250k+ posts) can take 3–7 days. Your live forum stays online the entire time — we migrate to a copy on our servers, you inspect, then we sync the final delta and switch over with zero downtime.
Why not just use a free migration tool?
Free automated tools are great for small, simple forums. They handle forums, topics, posts, basic users and attachments. They do not handle private messages, polls, custom user fields, signatures, BBCode conversion, 301 redirects, or theme migration. Most communities older than 2 years have all of these. That's where we come in.
What about my custom theme and modifications?
Standard themes can be re-built on most target platforms using their native templating. For highly custom themes or specific plugins, we offer a Premium tier that includes theme rebuild and feature setup. We'll quote both options in your free assessment.
What does "pay after success" actually mean?
You pay zero up front. We complete the migration, hand you access to the migrated forum, you inspect everything. If you're satisfied, you pay the quoted price. If the result doesn't match the agreement and we can't fix it, you don't pay. We've been operating this way since 2010 because we trust our work.
What if my exact from/to combination isn't listed?
