I was stumped with the Drupal forums conversion since I was using bbPress and this plugin uses its own content types.
I scoured the net for conversion of these and, in the end, opted to use gConvertor services. They were certainly the cheapest and I found them very informative and useful. You don't pay until you're happy as well which is a big plus.
